Active Optimize

I have set ASC to close completely and not to start up on Windows Login, will this completely make Active Optimize useless then as ASC is not running in the background or is there a different process that Active Optimize runs as? I have the check box checked for Active Optimize and I noticed that it has been managing my system even though ASC is completely closed. I would like to know the specific process that Active Optimize runs as?

Actually, Active Optimize has an independent and separate process. Thus, it will run once you ticked Enable Active Optimize no matter you load ASC at Windows Startup or not.
