Well, I have a simple suggestion about the Performance Monitor.

 

The transparency should be adjusted together with the notifications instead of the main GUI. (Or completely independently if it is OK with the coders.)

 

For the users having Performance Monitor on the desktop all the time, it will be convenient to have it more transparent than the main GUI, as one can use the main GuI transparency as they wish at the same time.

 

In that way, it can be adjusted so that the transparency will be the same as the gadgets' transparency if a user is using sidebar gadgets.

 

FYI, it is even possible to install gadgets to Win8 and Win8.1 easily. (Certainly the security risk being at the risk of user.)

I would like to see some changes and improvements in in the future of Advanced System Care Ultimate.

Advanced System Care Ultimate should contain Active Virus Control (a proactive, dynamic detection technology .It monitor’s processes behaviour in real time, as they are running and tags suspicious activities.)

USB Immunizer (Immunizes any Flash Drive from viruses when they’re connected to your computer.)

Search Advisor (The Link Filter relies on intelligence provided by Cloud services to flag malware and phishing attempts in Google and Bing search results.

Advanced System Care Ultimate should detect potentially unwanted applications, potentially unsafe applications, P2P applications and dangerous cookies, in order to be effective need to detect them.

Must have: Adware Guard, Web Guard, Start-up Guard, Privacy Guard and Process Guard.

To be more efficient and faster scan must use technology: Cloud-Assisted Behavioural-Based Antimalware.

To improve protection, should be added Advanced Heuristics.

The program must be compatible with all Internet Security solutions.

Program would be good to have Exploit Prevention, detect data vulnerabilities, provide protection against Ransomware, protect documents, scan boot sectors and scan all files and their extensions, deep registry scan.

Program should scan password protected archives and encrypted files.

Driver Booster should be included in Advanced System Care Ultimate, without having to install or to have a special license, as shown in the Advanced System Care Ultimate Disk Defragmentation or Registry Cleaner so should be present and booster driver directly in the Advanced System Care Ultimate.

Disable should be done automatically by Program Deactivator.

A full system scan runs about an hour. Scan speed should be higher.

The program must contain a tool in the toolbox to create a portable version of the product. (Portable Version Creator).

Advanced System Care Ultimate would be good to have a care tool that prevents Windows from not responding.

Win fix should detect problems in Windows applications store and metro interface, currently users have trouble opening applications, when want to open the Windows Store applications are redirected back to the desktop screen or home screen.

ActionCenter must be removed, consumers do not like it.

Consumers would like that Advanced System Care Ultimate 7 to be a complete security solution and performance. Therefore Advanced System Care Ultimate must be not just antivirus solution but anti-malware too, for full security and care.

Home Network manager should be added, to control home network devices.

The program should have around 10 skins that the user can choose.

The program must update the programs installed on your computer, for this is need to create a database with the latest software versions.

Really annoying not having an anti-virus with new ASC

 

It sure would be nice if you have the ant-virus program installed. When i moved to ASC7 I had to search the internet and had no idea which anti-virus to pick and it just sucks. I loved when I had just your ultimate and MalwareByte's Anti-Malware. My computer seemed invincible. But I can't wait for Ultimate to come out. Im just gonna keep doing free trials of anti-virus's and PAY for Ultimate the day it comes out.

If you have (or install) ASC Ultimate 6 and have a license for it, the same license will be valid for ASC Ultimate 7 and the expiration date will be the same as ASC Ultimate 6.

 

ASC 7 will be uninstalled by ASC Ultimate 6 or ASC Ultimate 7 when you install any of them anyway.

 

You should have native MSE with your OS, why don't you utilize it when waiting?

 

Certainly, in the mean time you can install another free anti-virus program like Avast or Avira, when you are waiting for the release of ASC Ultimate 7.

But, please note that there will be betas of ASC Ultimate 7 at the beginning.

Active optimiser

 

Hi all,

It might be worthwhile having an option to turn off specific process's within this set-up.

Looking at mine today found it was optimising my printers file even thou i wasnt using it.

Got around it by setting it to manual in windows services

@ Octavian, thanks for your precious suggestions. I will report them to our product team for consideration. According to your suggestions, we want to clarify something.

 

1) Driver Booster is an independent product like IObit Malware Fighter that it needs separate license code to activate.

 

2) ASC Ultimate as a professional anti-virus software, it is specialized in anti-virus. But it also has the basic anti-malware function.

Maybe a all-in-one-Security(Privacy, Firewall, Anti-Virus.etc) protection that prevent ANY non-legitimate, unauthorized or unknown activity anywhere in the PC...such as having a privacy control capability where Advanced SystemCare Ultimate would block an unauthorized remote command to turn on your webcam or something, then a window would pop up(with complete detail of the activity or file) asking to allow; remember always or once, block; remember always or once, or upload to IObit to evaluate it for the database... (no more using THAT troublesome browser add-on...)

Then the IObit team should add a slider during a full scan to adjust priority. (Higher priority will increase scan speed but consume more resources, lower priority would be slower but uses less resources).

If the user has a choice to to give ASC priority for resource availability, then that would defeat the object as ASC would them use resources which would not be available for other programs, thereby slowing down other programs. Why exactly do you need the scan to be faster. You can start the scan and continue working on your computer and the scan will complete in its own time.

It does not interfere with your work on the computer. You can always make a coffee or read a book.

To be honest, Netbook users(like me :mrgreen:) or those with old system specs can't multitask most of the time, had to do most tasks(even running one of Advanced SystemCare Ultimate's features!:evil:) one by one, and wouldn't wanna waste a bit of available resources unused just for one task(full system scan). The choice is of course optional and can be safe by having it auto-adjusting every time the amount of available resources changes.

for old pcs like my pc before upgrading, it was better to scan for viruses using low priority setting so that I could multitask easier while scanning. but I don't scan when working on the pc but after all work is over and set it to shut down after scan is over.

Maybe it is better to run antivirus scan after you finish all your work on the pc and set it to turn off after the scan.
