Why do I need a license code to test a "Beta" version? It will not even open without the code because my license for 6 expired previously.

I fully agree with you....I cannot understand this licence requirement for Beta testing....there is something very wrong there.

The worse part is my ASC Ultimate 6 key just expired like 3 days ago... I have one for pro but want to try the new version of ultimate to see if I want to upgrade to ultimate again.

Yu can run ASCU beta7 without a licence.

Actually mine won't even open after installation it immediately pops up for a license... and it will ask you after the 30 days if the active now feature is enabled.

Downloaded mine no problem yesterday.

What i allways do prior to this is remove all previous versions AND remove the folders.

Been there done that... It was popping up like that because I have a previous subscription to ASCU 6 that expired.

This is bound to happen in win 8.1 as it has built in antivirus windows defender and as you said you have ascu. So that's why it is like that.

Advanced System Care Ultimate 7 should have two important scanners;one is rootkit scanner and the second is vulnerabilities scanner.

Also I have noticed that the Advanced System Care Ultimate doesn't clean and protects the computer of ransomware. Advanced System Care Ultimate should provide protection against ransomware.

I really welcome if is possible to include ALL iobit software in the ASC ULTIMATE Installer, and integrate all of them in the ASC Ultimate in the best way possible

Sorry to say but ASCU is already a heavy fighter, and I really don't, want it to be a bloatware. So I don't agree with the idea of having all the tools in ASCU. Perhaps, some very specific one or two.

When Scanning, it hangs when it hits 'Check Drive for errors at 1% most of the time. Sometimes if I wait long enough it will finish or the progress bar will hang about 1 cm from finish. :?

 

My main point is that it is very unreliable.

Do you mean Driver Booster hangs when you said "it hangs when it hits 'Check Drive for errors at 1% most of the time?" You know it may take sometime to update driver. Please be patient.

... Driver Booster hangs ...

Its happening on my pc as well in ASC while scanning using care tab. It hangs in junk files clean and drive errors not driver booster. Possibly this is what might have been happening with you. :mrgreen:

The antivirus takes hours when doing a deep scan.

for the rest its the same as ASC 7 pro.

furthermore I been using ASC since it first came out

a few years ago and it works to my pc,s satisfaction. ;-)

Scan speed depends on your pc's free hard drive storage.

Advanced System Care Ultimate 7 would be good to have a rescue tool. It mean to scan windows system (the settings, files and others) and to identify if there are changes or damage made by a malware that has been cleaned.
