Updater download very slow

When I click to see if there is any new updates for the program, it is very slow. This morning I was downloading the 19.2 update of the database and my download spped was only 29.3kb, and yet I am on a very fast cable LAN line. Is anyone else having this same problem and if so, able to let me know if there is a way to fix this?

It is found that you are using proxy, which may cause the slow speed.

 

Besides, the downloading speed depends on what you are doing when you update the database. E.g: If you are downloading other programs or you are watching video online, then the speed will be slower relatively.

 

Thus, please do not download other programs or watch video online when you update database. It is suggested to tick " update automatically" in settings.

Thank you for your quick reply. I will have to check my settings for I should not be using a proxy.

 

Yes, I am aware that running videos or other programs will slow down the process.
