ASC Real-Time Protection or Malware Fighter?

Question:

I have both ASC7 Pro and Malware Fighter Pro. In ASC, I turned off real-time protection because it seems to be doing the same thing as Malware Fighter. Is this true?

If they are both turned on, will they conflict with each other? Would they be redundant, wasting unnecessary CPU cycles?

What's the difference between the two, and what do they do in common?

Thanks,

Steve S

IObit malware Fighter provides better protection while real time protector provides a light and basic protection.

Hi srschacher,

Thanks for your question.

Actually, ASC is a system optimization software with the basic anti-malware function that can help you optimize and speed up your PC. It is not a security product. It does not conflict with Iobit Malware Fighter, which is a professional anti-malware.

By the way " real-time protection" in ASC, do you mean " Homepage Protection"?

If you have any other confusions, please feel free to tell us.

I think he is talking about real-time protector in quick settings not Home page protection.
