Virus Total link you gave ran false positive on a lot of my programs.

To check whether it is a false positive, please supply us the following information:

 

• Upload the files that were reported as threats to VirusTotal and supply the report links in your next post.

• Also, ZIP the files that were reported as threats and upload the zip file to Wikisend and supply the link in your next post for iObit to investigate further.

 

You can use THIS post as an example.

HI Cicely have ran a few programs on my system and that Virus Total link you gave ran false positive on a lot of my programs.

 

AVG and Malwarebytes pro has not detected any thing.

They my be false positives or they may not be false positives, but you have to take into consideration of the results of other security software too.

The database of different security software are different and a threat may have been included in one database and may not have been included in another.

That's why there are so many security software.

Search the web for a specific threat and decide if it is a real threat or not.

 

The practical thing is to see if many security software flag a threat as a real threat.

Yes i know that but it seems that lately no matter what software you use for anti virus or malware protection it will come up as false positive just be cause it runs a specific command code or registry line code.Does not mean it is a virus or malware but it could be just means it is being flagged.

 

Mainly due to that fact that there is a lot of crap going around on the internet like that Flash player base fake FBI money-pack scam there is a newer version of that going around.As a flash player base.
