Where are user settings stored?

I am trying to make SM8 work with Remote Desktop Services 2012 R2.

Seems OK, but could not figure out where user settings are stored.

 

I need to make sure all users have the same default (my default)

 

Also is there any way to disable some of the menus for users that are not admin?

Try Main.ini file @ C:\Users\{YourUserName}\AppData\LocalLow\IObit\StartMenu 8

folder.

 

Perhaps attributing Main.ini file Read-Only after adjusting for the non-Admin Users can be the solution.

I don't know if anything can be done by Group Policy.

Thanks, but that is the most illogical place!

 

This folder does not even exist in Default profile!

 

Why not in Local?

The folder Enoskype referred to is >>>hidden<<< to see it you must change your folder view to include these, (see my post in general forum items) regarding this.

 

note ini as such does not exist its just main

Oh man, I know what it is & where it is.

 

The folder does not exists by default in DEFAULT profile (of course can be added).

 

Still it is illogical place!
