What is your browser Also what is your current protection? Your details are quite sketchy.

Something else to check

I had the same problem, so here's something else for you to check:

In Chrome, go to Settings, then, under the "On startup" heading, click on the "Set pages" link. I had my startup page set to "http://www.google.com" BUT, at some point, my Homepage was changed to be "https://www.google.com" (note the "s"). I had noticed this change some time ago (I don't know where the change came from, or why) and changed the Settings in the Homepage Protection to be the "https" address.

Soooo, every time I closed Chrome, it tried to change my Homepage address back to the "http" (without the "s"), and Homepage Protection prevented it from doing so, and popped up a notice about it.

The answer is to make sure all your settings (Chrome AND Homepage Protection) are set to the same page.
