I don't know what you mean by the Golden Edition, but the usage of portable is the same as the installed version of ASC3.

Any plans on making the portable v3.1? Although I really only need it for other computers anyway, just curious.

Why not just carry the install file on usb?

Its just as easy to install and im sure anyone would like to keep it.
