defrag 1.02...will not pass 99% Analyzing

It sticks on 99% Analyzing when you ask it to dfrag and optimize...hit stop and it sticks on stopping. turn it of then turn it back on later and it is still stopping. your assistance would be appreciate.

Hi J- easiest thing to try is a fresh install-open your current version and disable auto functions-close the utility from the tray(right click on the icon-choose exit)-then check in task manager to be safe-and when you are SURE that it's not running-go to add/remove in Win and uninstall it-next use Win search to locate any leftovers, and manually delete them(if you have a reg cleaner,run it now)next, go to page 2 of the lounge posts and look for my thread "newest defrag on CNET"grab yourself a fresh download and install-happy hunting ;-)
