Uninstalling ASC 7

I need instructions on how to manually uninstall Advanced SystemCare 7. I ended up with a file called ASCExtMenu_64.dll under "IOBit\Advanced SystemCare 7" that the uninstaller can't delete because it's in use by Windows Explorer.

Hi Owen

When one wants to uninstall something, it is wise to close down all running parts of the program first, otherwise the things that are running cannot be uninstalled because they are in use.

One method would be to install the program again and then remember to close it completely before uninstalling it again.

If one right click the icon in the tray it is possible to select close to close the program and the icon before uninstalling

hi. if you find leftover Dll, exe files that can't be deleted. you can A. boot into safe mode or B. use a helpful little program called IObit unlocker to remove them

I tried Safe Mode. Still couldn't delete the DLL.
