Driver update failed - now in reboot loop

Driver Booster updating 2 drivers. Something happened during the process. My Sony Viao running win 8.1 is now in a reboot loop. It displays an error, and reboots. I have not been able to stop it using the F8 key. Sony took over the F10 key, and their software basically wants to wipe my system. Using a USB drive, I can get to a prompt window, but not sure how to proceed from there. I need to get into windows and go back to the restore point that Drive Booster made before the update. Ideas??

Please read the posts in THIS thread, you may find a solution for the Safe Mode Start and then System Restore or go back to the working driver.

 

If you manage to get your Windows 8.1 working normally, I would suggest to install BootUITuner program for the future, of which I find very useful for W8 and W8.1 for the problematic start loops. Actually, it is the first program I install to every W8 and W8.1 that I manage.
