priortise v optimise

Aloha Sunny,

What I understand is when SD optimizes it packs the data files (while defragmenting) so that there are no gaps between files. The "fully optimize" gets rid of all gaps, while the quick optimize does not do such a complete job. This also consolidates free space.

Prioritizing means that SD is going to arrange the data files on the disk so that newer files, or files that are modified frequently are placed at the 'end' of the file structure so that any changes will have LESS chance to cause defragmentation when they are changed.

Hi sunny staines and Kailasa108,

@sunny staines, Sorry that I did not reply you asap.

@Kailasa108, thanks for your warmhearted explanation. And I have something more to supplement.

Defrag and Fully Optimize helps you defragment the fragmented files and fully organize disk data to eliminate blank space for maximum disk performance.

Defrag and Prioritize Files (Slow) intelligently prioritizes disk data for maximum performance and long-lasting data contiguity. " Prioritize " means putting the more important things first to accelerate data access.
