Hello -

I seem to have run into trouble when doing a Disc Scan and using the DIsc Doctor option in the toobox. When I run them no matter how long it runs for it freezes at 4%. I additionally uninstalled ASC and then reinstalled and scanned again with no luck stuck at 4%. Any idea why this is happening and how it can be corrected? Thank You! (Windows7/64 - HP Pavilion DM4)

Hi scigone,

To help you out of the problem, please send us the related screenshots to show it for us to look into.

Guide for taking screenshot.

http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htm

Besides, please download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelperV7.exe

Then double click to run this tool and click “Save report to Desktop. You will get a zipped file IObit_Debug_Info.zip on your desktop and please send it to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Just to check if this might do the trick. Have you tried launching it at safe mode? If it launches fine, there's a software that's stopping or interferring with it. Perhaps a security software. 1.gif

Hi rourkem,

Thanks for your reply.

Do you mean some security software on your computer has stopped the Disk Scan in Disk Doctor?

Could you please send back the needed inofrmation mentioned in my last post so that we can further look into the issue?

Thanks very much for your work.

EDIT: Cicely, I think rourkem is replying to scigone.
