Hi Sunny-I use it the same way Dave does-that is,when I can remember :? Don't see any real need for it to run and drain resources. The first time I ran this,my pc was only three months old, and I got six or seven fixes. So if your tight on space, you can actually just install it on need be basis.I just keep the set-up file. It really is only useful depending on the programs that you are running,as many don't have auto updates-(Adobe comes to mind)so let's call it a user to user application-hope that answered your question

Hi sunny

I ran the application from the net the first few times some time ago, - now I have it downloaded to my machine, but only let it run when I say so.

Most resource concious and not as irritating.

It also finds old programs that in reality does not present a danger, and if you like those applications you can just keep them.

Fx. I still have the old regcleaner made by the nice Finnsh fellow (Vioni or something I think it was)

Cheers

I have turned it off to save resources. not getting loads of false microsoft upgrades required this time around so may well keep it and run once a month or so.

Yes I remember that it showed a bunch of java applications that was obsolete, In reality it was just because they were in a couple of folders and in the registry, - they were updated.

That cost me a couple of anxiety-moments too. :-)

it ran ok this time around, about a year ago ran it reported a couple of office and ms updates which were already installed and ran me ragged trying to sort it.
