Smart Defrag "Updates available" message continuously pops up

I have Smart Defrag 3. Each time I boot up my pc, the "Udates Available" message pops up, even though, the first two times I saw it I clicked o.k., download. Either my downloads are not working, or this is just an annoyingly, repeated message. Any ideas?

Please uninstall completely your Smart Defrag and download and install the latest Smart Defrag 3 which can be downloaded from the link in Smart Defrag 3.3 (3.3.0.368) is released! [October 22, 2014] topic.

Just curios here. Could this be the case of another security software interfering with the updates? I'd like to ask Ksmith, on the download or update installation process, do you get an error message or anything as well?
