Iobit Malware Fighter and ASCU are two completely separate and distinct programs. If IMF was included in ASCU. it would make ASCU bloated and heavy on system resources. This is why they are kept separate, and rightly so. The user can perform the functions of each program as he/she wishes thereby reducing system load. It is very easy to request for all and every utility/program to be included with ASCU, but the pro's and con's must be evaluated. With the range of programs/utilities now available, if all were included in a single one does all package, then said package would be enormous and require huge system resources.

These two programs are more effective and efficient by remaining separate.

IMF is anti-malware... what do the two have in common that other IOBIT software doesn't? They BOTH PROTECT your system. It's not like I'm asking for all the other IOBIT products to be included. But when your looking for the best protection for your system, you would need both products. As to the comment that having them in one package would require "huge system resources", how could it require more system resources that running the two together. Yes, the file download would be larger, but stating that is would require huge system resources is a bit outrageous. I believe that anyone interested in the Anti-Virus protection would definitely be interested in the Anti-Malware protection.

Just installed ASC Ult 8.1 on second computer. Exact same problem as reported in my post #50. Appears that this is a bug in upgrade.

Every second time I close Firefox a warning pops up, that I'm about to change search-engine to the second one in my list. I'm using DuckDuckGo as default and eben if I dont make a search, this pops up. First it was Google, when I deleted Google then it became Wikipedia (sv). But if I allow the change, it still DuckDuckGo.

I am wondering if perhaps this tool can be made more powerful and more useful.

 

• I would love for it to be able to find variations of a filename, such as being able to detect when the same image file was coped and uniquified. Sometimes this happens when you import images from the camera, and you end up with DSCN0498.jpg, DSCN0498-1.jpg, and DSCN0498-2.jpg, or something to that effect, when you really only need one.

 

• Some selection buttons would be nice, such as "Select All" "Select None" "Invert Selection" "Keep Newest" "Keep Oldest" instead of having to manually use the selection boxes. This is somewhat tedious having to click through a few thousand clones.

• Finally, would it be possible to add a wizard that could automatically select to maintain files from a certain folder? For example, if I have RSDLiteSetup.exe and a bunch of other *.exe clones in C:\Download and in C:\Motorola, and I want to keep all the clones that are in Motorola, can the program automatically delete the close in Download?

 

• Was thinking being able to ignore clones in certain folders would be a desirable setting, unless I missed that setting somewhere.

I Love the New Beta Advanced System Care Ultimate 8.

The improvements and Tweaks have made quite a difference.

 

One thing I would like to see added is Network Capability as that is the one thing that has always been missing.

The PRO version has a few more features than the Ultimate.. For example.. in PRO, it has the Protect tab. Why not in Ultimate? Ultimate should have all the bells and whistles, and there were some features in the Ultimate 7 that are no longer in 8. Not sure why those were eliimnated.

They would absolutly be better incorporated and trimmed then as two simultanius running programs both taking their own memory- and cpu resources . 1'st time running IMF and it installs itself in system startup. Why, if its so heavy on system resourses?

Other programs, like DB, also want's to run from start. So we are protected all the time, but that eats up resources and most of then you only have to run at intervals or manualy.

The second thing I don,t get is why install a desktop shortcut, when its on the ASCU -menu?

I have advanced system care pro 8.0. I run the scan select repair, after repairs are complete i rerun scan and it shows as many , sometimes more issues than before repairs????

I keep losing WIFI, especially after going into sleep - necessitating a reboot to get it back again. I have restored different versions of the driver, but it makes no difference.

The fact that you mention driver restoration, leads me to suspect that you used Driver Booster. If this is the case then rolling back the driver to the original which worked should sort the issue. See Here. Also a system restore to a time before the issue occurred may solve the issue.

ASCU 8 is out of Beta and the Final version is released. See here. You should install this version. If the issue continues, make sure that

Deep Clean in Registry Fix settings is disabled(unticked).
