Privacy Sweep needs looking into

 

Privacy Sweep is still not deleting the Internet Explorers Temporary Internet Files but CleanMyPC Registry Cleaner does. it has an Privacy Eraser that deletes those files better than IOBit will it be fixed in Advanced SystemCare 8?

Thanks for your feedback. Please check whether you ticked "Delete browser history older than one week." If you ticked it, it will keep the related files in one week.

 

And I have reported the situation you mentioned to our product team. We will do a test. To look into the issue, could you please give us more details as follows?

 

1) Could you please send us related screenshots or any other things that can show" Privacy Eraser that deletes those files better than IOBit"?

 

2) @scrd01, what is "protected area" that you mentioned in IE? Could you please also send us the related screenshots?

as you can see <if the pics are the right size this time> that CleanMyPC Registry Cleaner removes more than the browser's temporary internet files. it removes all traces of every website you have been to. like Youtube videos,facebook,google etc. will Advanced SystemCare 8 have a better cleaning system for all these temp files?

EDIT: You can save them as .jpeg files, and upload them as a attachment, so they can be seen properly.

Could you please describe the the situation you mentioned more clearly with related pictures? Sorry I could not get you clearly. And I do not try the Portable version of ASC, for I always install it on my PC. :wink:

Sorry it took long to reply back. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures at this time, my flash drive is at work. If you create a ASC Portable USB and then have it run through all scans, it will download and store the windows updates in a folder (I noticed the folder get's created after a first time run of ASC with the option to check for security vulnerabilities). But it will store every update that you do in that one folder, causing the next system that its ran on to try installing those updates if they aren't on the system (Ignoring if the system is Windows XP, 7, or 8).

 

My question is can a system identifier be added, so that when you get to the security vulnerability portion of the scan, it sees what OS is running, and then creates a subfolder broken down by whichever version of Windows that is running.

 

The other point is after the updates are downloaded, and ASC goes to install them, it creates a temp folder to install the update right off the flash drive. Rather than doing that and burning out a flash drive, why not have ASC copy whichever updates the system needs to the Windows Update folder on the system. Will save on the life of the flash drive and help the updates install much faster.

 

I'll try to get pictures/video within the next few days. That's the best way I can explain it tho haha

You are addding to much unnecessary things in it ..

 

Let's start with v7 ..

Security reinforce , Homepage protection , Surfing protection , Malware protection in realtime .. Should i continue ? THIS IS BLOAT .. It's not antivirus , its a system utility .. It should optimize your system , AV is there to protect you..

I'm not saying that this stuff is bad , but these things are running in the background , slowing down your computer ... It should speed up your computer not eat all of your ram memory...

regarding the "protected" temp files,

Additional is probably a better definition.

They are in

C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files

and

C:\Windows\SysWOW32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files.

1) Currently, few anti-virus software has Homepage protection and Surfing protection. We want to supply some extra protections that anti-virus software does not.

 

2) We are trying to optimize these real-time features. And these features hardly affects your PC performance. Please do not worry.

 

3) It is true that there are more features in the new versions. We will try to supply more new features that users need badly. Certainly, we will continue to streamline and optimize the existing features. It may need more time to be better and better with the help of all our users. ;-)

When is v8 gonna be launched?

 

I like 7.3 but Lyon is right, it's a bit "messy/bloaty now. There is a lot under the hood though. Considering the situation you have building ASC I'm guessing it's not so easy to keep it smooth.

 

One negative thing I've have to say that it doesn't clean out Chrome properly. There is still many items left. Even with all "boxes" clicked.

(7)antivirus could be stooped user install malware toolbar and software and ad dons

(8) pc backup still missing

(9)disk doctor always ask no error found need improvement

(10)windows have in build "error checking" for disk and remover media u can add this in your softwere

(11)many softwere have 64 bit different setup like vlc

(12)may be create hard-disk partition

(13)find and fix hard disk failure issue

MS Event viewer is rather clumsy, you have to select the various sub-sections then view the error type.

 

A tool to list critical errors and the general description that goes with them,

would definately help in problem solving.

Advanced SystemCare v8 Beta might be released in mid-August. For the issue " it doesn't clean out Chrome properly", could you please tell us what was not cleaned? Have you close your running browser to clean completely?

 

Besides, please download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelperV7.exe

 

Then double click to run this tool and click “Save report to Desktop”. You will get a zipped file IObit_Debug_Info.zip on your desktop. Please send it to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.

52. all three version have different setup,free,pro,ultimate

also new tool first available for only for ultimate then pro then free

 

53. u must take care piracy devs and company invest lots of manpower and money

 

54.software update app so we know which softwere is outdate in our pc

its method also help for pc speed and security.

 

55.online tutorial on youtube how softwere all tool work

 

56.manage my mobile still ask me u dont have any devices ...its possible this tool work bluestack

 

57.files shredder still not work drives and pen drives

 

58. undeleted is very disappoint me i undeleted use and i saw very little type of file i can choose i want getback videos but i only recover 64 files but when i use other software i can get 378 files only videos so please improvement in this tool
