Hi,

With this new version of ASC 8, there is a big problem that corrupt one of my hard drive make me unable to use it anymore (i have to rollback to ASC 7 to use it again) and makes my HDD led solid , and my computers freezes in VERY STRANGE conditions (open sound configuration in control pannel for exemple).

THIS IS NOT a problem with my, or OUR computers, beacause much other poeple have this problem TOO, and i know where the problem come from...

Smart Defrag, cause EXACTLY the same problem as ASC 8, did ASC 8 have smart defrag by default ? Or using something there is in smart defrag ?

I hope Iobit will fix the problem, makes us use your new version of ASC.

PS: Actually, i am on 6.4 beacause i'm not able to find the version 7 anymore...

PS2: My hard drive is running perfectly fine, all my 2tb files are on it, not a problem from me.

Hi Kepler Labs,

Please open Smart Defrag, then please right click on the disk, click Recognize this disk as HDD.

Could you please give us more details about the issue "ASC v8 corrupts yout hard drive"?

Could you please reinstall ASC v8 from http://www.iobit.com/downloadcenter.php?product=asc8-dl to see whether the issue occurs again?

If yes, please send us the related screenshots for us to look into.

Guide for taking screenshot.

Then, please download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelperV8.exe

Then double click to run this tool and click “Save report to Desktop”. You will get a zipped file IObit_Debug_Info.zip on your desktop, please send it to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
