ASC8 Pro says I have used all my PC installs -[SOLVED]

OK that would be OK if I owned 3 PC's. i do not. I own ONE. It has Windows 7 64 bit on it. I am also a MS dev. Have been since 95. I am currently dual booting into Windows 10 preview as well, testing it and reporting problems. OK even IF ASC considers that a 2nd PC (which since it is the same system it would NOT be.) that would still be only TWO systems not 3. I just bought a HP Stream 7 tablet. It runs full Windows 8.1 with Bing. If it had run Android i would have used your mobile app. It does not. It runs full Windows 8.1 32 bit. So OK if ASC considers my real computer as system one, and my dual boot test OS as system two and my new tablet as system three, that is still only THREE systems which is the number of systems I can install ASC 8 Pro on. But when I try to activate the key on my new tablet it tells me i have exceeded the number of PC's i can install to. Which is not true. I have one PC and one tablet. So how do we fix this dilemma? I have every right to install ASC on my tablet but it says I don't and won't activate. I left the Free version running on it anyhow. Your help is needed and appreciated if someone from IOBit sees this post. I've had Cicely help me before, maybe she'll see this. Thanks.

I think Im having similar difficulty I purchased ASC 8 pro one pc license, a month later, my laptop was wiped and sent away to be fixed, I did try uninstalling ASC 8 pro first and apparently it uninstalled correctly. Now, I can not load ASC pro on my new laptop, or even with the backup CD. I am NOT trying to use on more than one system, but every time I try to re-install I get error messages and it never works. So now Im paying for a product I cannot use. Anyone fill me in on what is going on with this. I have valid license code. I am also Very unhappy with the way IObit is rerouting every attempt I make to contact them. Not funny

BTW, when you export the license, what does it say in ASC License.txt for the License Seat:?

Thanks for the replies. Appreciated. The license seat says 1 for some reason. I've used this for years and it's always said 3. I did leave a PM with Cicely as soon as I made this post last night. She's helped me before and I'm sure she will again. :D

Ah ha! I got a link to reinstall and they reset the code and now it's up and working on my tablet. Nice. :D

Didn't even think about it but just to let everyone know. ASC full version 8 works fine on a HP Stream 7. Does a good job on the Windows 8.1 32 bit OS. Take care! :D
