    I'm running IObit Malware Fighter 3.4 and database version 1505, and *also* received a hit on WNASPINT.DLL (Threat type: Trojan: Generic)
     
    This also occurred on the immediately previous database I had loaded, but never before in all the many years this file has been on my PC.
     
    Note: I find from a web search that a different dll --- by the very same name --- but from a different developer company, is being flagged as malware by many, while the one on my system is listed as clean by almost all. Could that be cause of IMF having flagged this file?

To check whether it is a false positive, please follow the instructions below:

 

1. Make sure you update it to the latest definitions version.

 

2. After the scan, please click the "Save Report" button on the bottom left and send us the report

 

3. Zip the suspicious file with password "infected", upload it to http://www.wikisend.com and then give us the download link
