ASC 8 and Remote Desktop Connection Windows 7 - computers list missing !

Hello, after installing and using ASC 8 i notice that the list of computers stored for remote desktop connection are missing.

The remote desktop connection works fine but even after i connect to several computers, after restarting the pc, the list appears empty and i have to set it up all over again. After the restart ASC8 is not running.

Any ideas?

ASC8 free, Windows 7

Hi Iga,

Welcome to IObit Forum.:-)

To look into the issue, please download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelperV8.exe

Then double click to run this tool and click “Save report to Desktop”. You will get a zipped file IObit_Debug_Info.zip on your desktop, please send it to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Oups, I think i found something, autoclean remains enabled eventhough ASC is set NOT to start during boot time. In auto clean there is an option about remote desktop, i guess this is it ?

Hi Iga,

Please check settings by the following steps:

Open Advanced SystemCare -> Click More Settings icon on the top right -> Click Settings -> Click Privacy Sweep on the left panel -> Untick Remote Desktop on the right panel under Windows -> Click Apply and OK button.

Please take the same operations in AutoClean and Browser Anti-Tracking.

Please let us know whether the issue can be solved.:-)
