Failed to get updates

I am running ASC Ultimate 8 behind a firewall. I am getting the error "Failed to get update Information, please try again later" when running updater. It works at home or outside our network. What ports or websites do I need to look at?

To look into the issue, please download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelperV8.exe


Then double click to run this tool and click “Save report to Desktop”. You will get a zipped file IObit_Debug_Info.zip on your desktop, please send it to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.

I just registered to report this same problem. It might be worse for me as Start Menu 8 has stopped working as well. Here is my report.

I have the same update failure issue. However, I am able to bypass the problem by connecting to VPN server.

The update failure begins roughly 3-4 weeks ago. I have tried to re-install the ASCU, but it didn't solve the issue.


p.s. I can download the file from the link above, and i have attached a report for your references.

I'm currently living in Macau S.A.R. Is there anyway that I could test if it is related to my local network?
