Stopping message everytime I defrag

everytime I try and defrag my hard drive I select start then the status bar goes to anayzing and then stops almost immediately, having not defragged.

 

Anyone know why this might be?

Defrag stopping

 

I just updated to latest version and am having the same problem running Drefrag. It immediatley stops after starting. I hope it is fixed soon. I may reinstall last version. It's a bit annoying that Smart Defrag and Windows Care Advanced are updated so often and having to start over from scratch each time.

try a clean install, works sometime. delete the folder afte uninstalling if there is one and clean the registry. sorry if your not a computer newbie, some just tend to make mistakes like that. by the way do you think you could post a screenshot? thanks

If you're using a laptop and running on the battery, go to Options and uncheck the box called "Stop defrag while using battery." That just worked for me.
