Setup Firefox virus scan & Right-click scan

I have ASC Ultimate 8 and I am wondering what string I use in Firefox about:config automaticvirusscan in order to have ASC to scan the files at download time? Also wondering how I add a right-click scan for ASC?

 

Thanks for the info. If the answer is out here on the forum, I apologize but the search doesn't really work well, because I couldn't figure out how to have it just scan this part of the forum.

Hi JBattin,

 

ASC Ultimate will scan virus when you download files from browsers, but it will not disturb you if the file is safe. :)

 

Does "Scan virus by ASC Ultimate" not show in the right-click menu? Please kindly check the settings of ASC Ultimate to see whether this checkbox is selected in General Settings.:-)

No I don't have anything on the Right Click to scan files.

Yes I did. That box is checked. I did figure out my issue though. It works ini Windows Explorer, but I never use that, I use Powerdesk. So I'm sorry about that.

Please reinstall ASC Ultimate from http://www.iobit.com/downloadcenter.php?product=ascu8-dl

 

If the issue continues, please download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelperV8.exe

 

Then double click to run this tool and click “Save report to Desktop”. You will get a zipped file IObit_Debug_Info.zip on your desktop, please send it to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.
