rtl120.bpl file is missing after uninstalling ASC and Malware Fighter

I cancelled my subscription for the ASC and Malware Fighter. Now, several application programs on my computer stopped working. I uninstalled the two iObit programs, and a message that file rtl120.bpl is missing appears each time I try to start a problematic application, e.g the MS Outlook (my mail program). I need to get back to the state where my computer worked perfectly - before the installation of the iObit programs, please help.

Hi Scannan,

Thank yo for your prompt response. I did restore the computer to a previous state, one before the problem started raising its head. That was a state in which both iObit programs were still installed (so the file rtl120.bpl was correctly referenced (I suspect, in the registry), and since at the time of these restore events both programs were still not uninstalled, this worked. But a computer cannot remain in such frozen state. Microsoft updates its programs, and as soon as a new update was downloaded and installed (and the registry affected), and then I anyway had to uninstall again, since, firstly, I cannot keep them (iObit paid me back their cost) and frankly I am afraid to keep them, knowing that they may be poisonous, I simply had to uninstall. After that, restoring to the previous state cannot help, because that was a state when both iObit programs were still installed and that was reflected in the registry.

The file is not in the recycle bin, and anyway, I do not know where to restore it to, or how, even if I had it...

Besides, please download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelperV9.exe

Then double click to run this tool and click “Save report to Desktop”. You will get a zipped file IObit_Debug_Info.zip on your desktop, please send it to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.

If the zip file is too large to be sent, please upload it to www.wikisend.com and give us the download link.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
