Smart Defrag: Fragments and Files Defragmented

I would expect a minimum of 2 fragments in any file that is defragmented. Therefore, there should be more fragments than files defragmented. Yet I see the reverse when running Smard Defrag 4.4 under Windows 7. Currently performing a full optimization, and it is showing 476 fragments and 1800 files defragmented. Can someone enlighten me how this can be?

To look into the issue, please take the steps as follows:

 

1) Please update to the latest IMF v5 RC from http://www.iobit.com/downloadcenter.php?product=sd-pre

 

2) If the situation you mentioned continues, please download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/SD5InfoHelper.exe

 

Then double click to run this tool and click “Save report to Desktop”. You will get a zipped file IObit_Debug_Info.zip on your desktop. Please send it to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.

Loaded and ran SDv5 and it seems the anomaly noted previously has been resolved. The fragments count always exceeds the files count by at least 2x, which makes complete sense.
