Where's the Search Function after removing Cortana?

Hey all.

I just installed Start Menu 8, and I did so because I have completely removed Cortana by a) disabling it via its properties off of the Start button and b) moving the file Microsoft.Windows.Cortana_cw5n1h2txyewy out of \Windows\systemApps — moving this file, however, removes the search function completely from the Windows 10 Start button; pressing the Windows Key does nothing, and clicking on Search off the Start menu does nothing.

 

So, my question is, does Start Menu 8 have it's own search function? If so, how do I access it?

Never mind. I've uninstalled it and put the file back.
