Secure Computer Tips

 

•Don't click on Random/Unknown Ads

 

•Don't go Porn websites (This is the easiest place to get infections)

 

•Don't Download stuffs from unknown websites

 

•Clear caches after finishing internet

 

•Run Anti virus Full scan weekly or at least few times a week

 

•Close all active browsers before leaving computer when AFK (Away from keyboard)

 

•Avoid Downloading musics from Limewire or other Similar Software.

 

•Check for updates for Anti Virus,Anti spyware etc Before Surfing internet.

 

•(If schedules available) Schedule Update settings in

Anti virus,Anti Spyware software.

 

Window Updates

 

Make sure you install all high priorities updates. And some of the stuffs

you use in the computer,some of them are listed as custom updates. Install if necessary.

 

System Restore

 

It can restore your computer to any Previous saved restore point. However

Malware Still can infect system restore,or still being infected after

performing System Restore. so turn down the amount of space it takes.

 

Reformat

 

Thorough or Deep reformat instead of quick reformat,its much

more effective but longer duration. Then download the window updates.

•Turn off System Restore (can turn on after cleared all infections)

 

•Restart computer in Safe mode F8 Key.

 

•Go to Control Panel then click Folder Options
