The "Browser Anti-Tracking" feature of chrome deletes non-relevant data [SOLVED by installing ASC 11.2]

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I use ASC 11.1.0.196 Pro, Windows 10 64 bit version 1709 (64 bit) and Google Chrome Version 64.0.3282.140 (Official Build) (64-bit).

If at the ASC settings I enabled "Browser Anti-Tracking" and I enabled the "Google Chrome" checkbox and its sub checkbox of "Cookies" - when I close Chrome, ASC (the process of BrowserCleaner.exe) deletes files from the Chrome internal path of "filesystem:chrome-extension://llaficoajjainaijghjlofdfmbjpebpa/persistent/sd_previews/" which holds the thumbnail image files of the bookmark-dials of the Chrome extension of "Speed Dial [FVD]" (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...mbjpebpa?hl=en) - so it is very anoying to lose these helpful images with every browser closure, while only cookies should have been deleted.

Please fix this.

Thanks,

Eitan

Hi Eitan,

Please download tool http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelper.exe.

Then double click to run this tool on the PC with the problem and click "Save report".

After it finishes, you will get a popup window to tell you where the report file IObit_Debug_Info.zip is saved. Click "OK" button to open that saved folder.

Please send the zipped file to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.

Thanks for your work and look forward to your early reply.

Thanks.
