System tray icon failure in Vista

Fixed Itself!

 

It appears that the system tray icon is now fully functioning, i.e. it has appeared after both the last two computer turn-ons.

 

No idea how (maybe a vista update :-o)

but its fixed! :smile:

Nice to know - too bad the reason wasn't identified though.

But if it was a Vista "thing" and an update took care of it, I suspect we won't be hearing that complaint anymore :-)
