SD Recognizes my HDD as a SSD !

I have tried everything to correct this, I believe it happened during the last 2 upgrades of SD.

When you say you tried everything, I assume you tried the following step...

 

If the disk type is not detected correctly, please hover your mouse on the disk and then click the arrow icon to switch the disk type manually.

 

If this did not work, try uninstalling and reinstalling Smart Defrag.
