PC Freeze on lunching a game

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Looks like Malware Fighter freezes my PC forcing me to do a hard restart after launching GTA Vice City.

When I lunch it, screen goes to black and PC is not responding at all, no matter what I do. It happens about 50% of times when I try to lunch the game, in the last 2 days I have disabled IMF and its services and I was launching the game about hundred times (I am modding the game) and it was fine, so, I'm 100% that its the Malware Figher causes the freeze. Also whitelisting whole folder where the game is located doesn't do any help, as well as whitelisting the exe file.

Hello,

Sorry t hear that.

What do you mean by " forcing me to do a hard restart after launching GTA Vice City.", please describe the issue more clearly with related screenshots.

Guide for taking screen shots can be found on: http://www.take-a-screenshot.org/

Please also download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelper.exe

Double click to run this tool on the PC with problem and click 'Save report'.

After it finishes, you will get a pop up window to tell you where the report file IObit_Debug_Info.zip is saved. Click 'OK' button to open that saved folder.

Send the zipped file to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into

By the way, have you tried the latest IMF v7 RC from http://update.iobit.com/dl/imfv7-setup-rc.exe

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for your patience.

By saying that is "forcing me to do a hard restart after launching GTA Vice City" I mean that everything goes to black screen and my PC is not responding to anything at all so there is nothing left but restarting using a button on the computer case (which is a terrible idea when using SSD, but there's nothing else I can do...).
