v1.10 Close help tip not removed

Recommended Posts

Just a minor problem ...

If you have 'Minimise to system tray' set in options, then if you hover mouse over the 'X' icon top right, a help tip of 'Close' appears just underneath, which is just fine.

If you click on the X icon, the window closes ... but it leaves behind the 'Close' text in a box! This only disappears when SD is shut down.:sad:

Edit: just noticed it can also happen to 'Minimize' help tip as well!

Hello Mavison,

I have noticed the problem.

I will forward your concern to IObit Specialist Team for further improvement.

Thanks!

Good, because that is annoying. Could you also ask them to place the config file back in the program folder as it used to be? I hate the user specific configurations. At least allow the option to use the config file in the program folder if it is present. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!

same here

It took me a minute to figure out where the "close" came from-and yes, agreed, please return the config. file as I too, wondered where it went-thought it was part of the self inflicted damage to my OS from last week-had me scared there for a minute

Hi detailer,

Most of the IObit ".ini" files, respective to programs, are gone to:

C:\Documents and Settings\{User Name}\Application Data\IObit

The reason is, I believe, for other users of the PC not to reach them.

But an option when installing may do the trick for who wants them in their respective main folders.

Cheers.

Yellow help flag remains displayed

Version 1.10

Hover the cursor over the close box on the Smart Defrag window. Once the "Close" flag is displayed, click the close box. Smart Defrag closes the window but remains running in the system tray. The flag remains on the desktop. Exiting smart defrag from the tray ends Smart Defrag and removes the flag.
