how do i fix this - not enough space ?

windows xp home

i have 40% free space on my hard drive ( NTFS )

 

friend suggested i use this but get same result

 

runs for so long then just quits with log reading Not enough space

mostly for game folders

 

have tried all 3 options

defrag only

fast optimize

deep optimize

with same results

 

what do i need to do to defrag my pc ?

Hi zarry-In options,have you checked the box "skip files larger than 1GB"?Is your PC a laptop?If so,have you checked"stop defrag/battery"?Also,have a look at this thread,post #5 in particular.
