Idle mode does not work

Recommended Posts

Hi ECarvalho

Did you read "Usage of IObit Products" ? (Forum Lounge)

Here is an excerpt from there

Settings

Enable Autodefrag

Your preference

But remember that you have it running silently in the background if you have enabled it.

It must be closed before installing a new version

Pause Auto Defrag when resources exceeds 20 procent

Here you have a slide that goes from 20 % to 100%

I would go with the pre-setting 20%.

I think an option for 10% would be good to have too - hint to IObit.

Start Auto Defrag when the system has been idle for 5 minutes

Here you have a slide that goes from 1 minute to 10 minutes

Your preference; But I would choose the pre-set 5 minutes

So it only stops defragging when the usage is above 20% - assuming you are going with the pre-set

OR it starts defragging after 5 minutes - assuming you go with the pre-set

unless you use more than 20% or whatever number you have chosen.

Please configure your settings to your satisfaction.

A way to get around all this is to not use the automatic defragging and just do it yourself by hand when you aren't doing anything else.

Cheers
