Seriously pissed off with IOBits colloboration with ITop

I don't give a monkeys who you are partnered with - you don't have the right to install software without my permission. Which you've just done now with this iTop VPN. 

Rebooted PC, then see huge pop up to install this rubbish with no option to ignore. 

Absolutely vile business practice. I won't be using your software again.

I agree with the many other posts regarding the surreptitious installation of iToP software. Unacceptable. I have been a user of Iobit uninstaller for many years. Effective immediately I am no longer one.

After reading all of the above comments, all of which has happened to me on many occasions, combined with the FACT that you get dicked around trying to do a simple update...to which you have to go to a third party site and reload the whole program again and re-install your license. I'm switching back to System Mechanic Pro.

Also I wasn't allowed to like everyone's comments here as they limit you as to how many "likes" you are allowed to give in any one day. Absolutely PATHETIC.

Hello! I too have been a fan of IOBit for more than 10 years. I've been a faithful subscriber. Just now I did an automatic install of Uninstaller, and it installed iTop Screen Recorder and some other software into my computer. I deleted these applications immediately.

IOBit we don't want to use iTop software!! Please do not add these programs to your collection! Incredibly frustrating to have iTop software automatically downloaded and installed.  Will do manual installation from now on.

Please, do not force users to install iTop.

I have been fighting this forever too, but I haven't been irritated enough about it to kick back. But I finally got tired of it. I was just about ready to finally write a flaming message when I decided to try one more time during the rebuild of my laptop.

Cicely has been saying for years now that the option checks are on the left side of the screen, but she has never gotten through WHAT screen and like me, I suspect most people were expecting the offer to be on one of the myriad pop up offers - and they just ain't there.

Well I FOUND THEM! 

They are in the lower left corner of the FIRST INSTALLATION SPLASH SCREEN. 

They are NOT a popup offering for you to ponder during the Uninstaller install. You have to decide BEFORE you start the Uninstaller install.

And yes, I consider the positioning of the check boxes in small print and away from your eyes are naturally looking for the install button is a subterfuge intentionally arranged to sneak in trojan software.

So at least the problem has been identified now, but you have to stay alert for ever - this process happens with 'simple' updates too.
