Freezing Computer & Outlook Search

Hi,

 

I recently installed the paid version of this product, since doing so I have noticed 2 things have started happening to my computer.

 

1. It freezes my computer, for upto 45 secs for no apparent reason

 

2. It seems to turn off my Outlook search when I run a scan, is this normal, and if so can I stop it from doing so.

 

Also, how the heck do you search the forums, as the "google" search engine doesnt appear to look at the forums at all.

Scrub the bit about searching the forums

 

ok, user error, it didnt stand out to me, but the other 2 problems still exist.

try a system restore and look at 'usage of iobit products' and look over system optimization errors first or try not to touch it!

I have actually discovered the freezing problem is nothing to do with Advanced System care, it was, or is, Counterspy. But for some reason every time ASC is run it switches of the Microsoft search function, is there a simple solution for me to do to stop this happening?

If it is switching to Yahoo, delete the Yahoo search and make Microsoft search as default. You can also uninstall Yahoo toolbar in your browser.

 

Did you uncheck the Yahoo options during installation?
