how to stop asc from starting windows firewall / defender service?

Hello

First I want to say all of the IObit programs are fantastic (drive booster, all the apps within advanced system care). They really help keep my ancient system running super smooth.

However, as my PC is ancient, services like windows defender, windows firewall, etc. are always disabled.

Whenever I run a scan with advanced system care / use any program within it (smart defrag, registry clean, etc) it seems to turn these services on.

Usually I remember to go back and disable after using, but often times i'll forget. i'll use avc, then play a game and starting lagging, look at the running services and realize windows defender, firewall, etc. have been enabled.

it's a minor gripe, the software is overall amazing. but i'm wondering if there's a way to stop avc from starting these windows services? I looked through the settings but can't seem to find such an option.

Thank you

Why would you want Windows Defender and Firewall disabled. Do you have some other program(s) protecting your pc.

What are the etc's that have been disabled.

When you say every time you run a scan...do you mean that after you scan you fix any items found....or do you just scan and not fix anything.

When you run a scan, do you scan all the options in asc or just particular ones.
