Hi tosue

Regarding the friendly http errors - go to Internet Settings in control panel by writing inetcpl.cpl in Run, click the tab Advanced and find the setting there.

As for BITS write services.msc in Run, find BITS in the list and choose your setting, if you have no problems with the manual setting, then choose that - otherwise keep the automatic and place this "problem" in the ignore list.
