hanging up.

When i switch to 'gaming mode' occasionally game booster will hang up on closing wmi performance adapter. I do not know what this does or why it will hang up on it. I basically learned to uncheck closing this program/aplication/service (whatever it is). Just wondering if anyone knows why this could be happening and could share some insight.

 

On a side note, i think it would be nice for gamebooster to have a cancel button while switching between modes.

I have the same problem, I am using:

Game Booster 1.31

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition SP3

 

It shuts all the other services fine but it just keeps trying and trying to shut down WMI resurssisovitin (WMI Performance Adaptor in English) but never makes it.

In GameBooster 1.31, WMI Performance Adaptor service is not included in the default services to be closed.

 

Either clean uninstall Game Booster and install GB 1.31,

or,

If you have it in the list untick it and check it in the GameBooster.ini file and see if:

WmiApSrv=1 or, WmiApSrv=0

under

[servicelist_xp]

Did a clean install

.ini shows WmiApSrv=1

Even after I unticked it

 

Should I just change it to "0" in the .ini?
