How do I deactivate Advanced System Care 3.1.2?

My computer ran slow so I purchased Advanced System Care 3.1.2.

to help with the problem.

It has made it much slower !

I have AVG virus protection and a computer tech suggested that I should

deactivate Advance System Care to help speed up my computer. (When I'm

working) and re- activate it when I'm not working.

 

Well I can't figure out how to deactivate it.

I have asked "Support" 5 times and received an answer back 3 times.

Each answer was stupid, like they didn't read my easy question.

So maybe someone on the forum will help me.

So is it possible to deactivate it?

If so how do I do it?

I did ask support if I could uninstall it & then re install it like every other week

First of all update ASC to version 3.2. You can download the setup file from ASC 3 version 3.2 is released thread.

 

To deactivate, just exit the program from System tray.

 

Apart from blocking the malware sites in Security Defense, how would it slow down your computer? Automatic defragging? Automatic functions? etc.? Turn them off in the options.

When it is running slow, you might check Task Manager to see if you can get an idea of what is using up you resources.

mccona-AVG is the main reason you're running slow.When was the last time you ran a defragger? and the last time you cleaned out junk and temporary files.These and other things contribute to a loss of speed.

a light free antivirus with much better protective properties and detection rates would be avira or avast. take your pick. theres actually a whole lot of em but those are reputable.
