@Eno1, I completely agree. I have stripped all Iobit applications from my machines (six of them), and will not install another Iobit app until they apologize for deliberately infecting my machines with a trojan, and they promise never to do it again. Until then, they have lost me as a customer.

I can't express how disappointing this is. Iobit's uninstaller is much better than their competitors. But I will not -- NOT -- accept malware and popups on any of my machines. Shame on you, Iobit! Shame!

Hi bblackmoor,

Sorry for my late reply.

It is guaranteed all IObit programs are safe and clean. There should be some misunderstanings.

Could you please kindly describe the situation more clearly so that we can make improvements?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

This is the advertising from Driver Booster.  https://postimg.cc/fkpZyJqW.

Understand that iobit wants to pop up adverts for their product but this is ridiculous.  I would say that this image isn't even safe for work.  Luckily I was not screen sharing when it popped up.  If it happens again I will be removing the products and requesting a refund!!!

i had some thing like that pop up called sump.exe (iobit summer) in C:\Program Files (x86)\IObit\Driver Booster\9.5.0 .poped about 5min after 9.5 installed (had 9.4) so it looks like they are putting popups in the exe install file. i did have the update automatically ticked now is on update manually. and that exe is now renamed using iobit unlocker

I have had 3 popups one exactly like that and 2 --- lets say WORSE "top 10 girls waiting for your needs" ./..wtf? sorry but i have friends with kids.. this is innappropiate ESPECIALLY as i use PRO version i shouldnt get any of this crap! - also got one saying "virus worse then covid found in your area" like... whats with the porn-like and fake news?

The exe for smart defrag is spepopud.exe - using quite a bit of cpu while its showing these awful ads! - i deleted the file and it stopped... until smart defrag reinstalled it.. so its goodbye now!

I'm just about done with IObit and their products.   I am beyond furious at the constant barrage of their pop-ups - including the flat-out lying ones regarding iTop VPN which claims "your IP is exposed!"   No, it's NOT because I have an excellent paid VPN which keeps me completely hidden.   You only make this bull$hit claim because you of course know my IPS as I've downloaded your products.

I do NOT want iTop VPN, I do NOT want iTop Data Recovery, I do NOT want any of the iTop "salon" of garbage pushed by iObit.

But I especially DO NOT WANT ANY POP-UPS from iObit.   Not at start-up, not while I'm working and pop-ups from iObit constantly pop-up in my way: it's about as intrusive and ANTI-privacy as any other form of spam, which I consider it to be.   And so - I'm now getting rid of ALL iObit programs/apps from my four computers.   There are plenty of free or reasonably-priced programs to replace ANYTHING iObit offers - and WITHOUT CONSTANT INTRUSION.

Hi MaestroLM,

Thanks for your feedback.

I have reported your feedabcks to our product team and we will keep on improving.😉

Had enough of this garbage, and I'm insulted that you would even ask for "screenshots"
You know what ads we're talking about. ALL OF THEM. I want ALL of them gone, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, forever, starting YESTERDAY. There is no compromise to be had. Get this garbage out of my face right now, I never want to see it again.

Advertising is a way of marketing your business in order to increase sales or make your audience aware of your products or services. Until a customer deals with you directly and actually buys your products or services, your advertising may help to form their first impressions of your business.

The incessant advertising within product that has been paid for can only be counter productive. I now have a popup window on my screen for VPN that took focus from my workflow and there is no way to close the popup. I have now had it with all IObit products, will uninstall and never go back. What marketing genius decided the way to make more money is to alienate users who already pay for your products?
