undo backup

I did a backup of my total system and it took up half of my remaining hard drive space. How do I undo it?:

I used backup wizard. It stored the backup in mydocuments settings. It did not put anything on the cd I had inplace.

Thanks for your interest. I just got it out of my computer. Is there a way to store all this data on a cd that can be used to recover in case of a crash?
