IObit Registry defrag tool

Does anyone know at what level of fragmentation the registry has to be before it will defrag please?

 

Also it would be nice it when the tool scans the registry it reports on the level of fragmentation similar to other reg defrags.

As far as I remember this question has been asked before, but I don't remember seeing a definitive answer to it, - maybe this time it will stick in the mind of someone who knows the answer - and then posts it! :-)

No, I haven't REALLY looked, just a few threads, but I am positive that enoskype said somewhere in a thread that nobody seemed to know at what level it would start, and I remember thinking that perhaps someone from IObit will read the comment and post a figure, - but no - at least I haven't seen it.

Hey guys,didn't we have issues reported with the reg defrag awhile back? Screen goes dark for analysis and stays that way-ring a bell? I use the one from QuickSys because it used to find another 2-3% after ASC's.

mine does not freeze on the black screen, just tells me it does not need defragging but no indiction of how fragmented it is or what level it needs to reach before it defrags.

 

Might try you one if I can get anywhere with this.

i have now installed it [last night] well impressed thanks.

 

it showed that my registry was 12.7 fragmented and needed defraging. I would like IObit to look at quicksys for innovation for improving its own reg defrag.

 

not sure why it fell by the wayside when you mentioned it before.
