Driver Booster Recommending an Older Graphics Driver

Why is Driver Booster 9.5 (or what other people refers the version as just 9) recommending me an older version of AMD Radeon Software instead of the latest version?

Right now it's recommending me the windows store version 30.0.13044.10001 which was between AMD Radeon Software 21.11.3 and 21.12.1 instead of the latest version which is 22.8.2 (released on Aug 22nd, 2022, Windows store version 31.0.12019.9007).

DB also tells me that my current graphics driver version is over 500 days outdated. (Windows store version 27.20.11044.5003, between 27.20.1017.1011 and 27.20.2001.8002 which were 20.5.1 and 20.7.1, possibly was 20.6.? as of my current version of my graphics driver apparently)

BTW I've been updating my graphics driver ever since I got my ASUS VivoBook 15 a year ago ("New", well I thought that it was new at the time when my mother got it for me..) and DB is telling me that the current graphics driver hasn't been updated for more than a year? (look at screenshot below)

Yeah, I'm gonna update and install the actual latest version of my graphics driver manually from amd's website instead of letting DB doing it since it's recommending me an older version of my graphics driver anyways...

If you must update your drivers....then it is wise to do it from the manufacturers site.

However, that said, I have always advised users that it is unnecessary to constantly update your drivers.

I only update a driver if there is a specific issue associated with a driver or the manufacturer strongly recommends an update.

Just because you can do something...does not mean that you should....
