Iconpn64 Identified with IDP.Generic

I have installed the latest version of Uninstaller, and my Avast wants to quarantine the file ICONPN64.exe saying it is infected with IDP.Generic.  Is this a false positive? I downloaded the file from the IOBit site.

You should always download from Majorgeeks site. If Avast still has an issue, then it is a false positive, just kike Smart Defrag.

I just tried downloading the file from MajorGeeks, Avast blocked it claiming its got malware.

Yep....seems like Avast has decided it will dictate what you should do with YOUR pc.

I will attach the file from Majorgeeks, hopefully that will enable you to get it installed.

Most likely though, you will either have to whitelist it or temporarily disable Avast until it is installed.

I added an exemption for the install file and it is now installed. Thanks for the help.
