Fixing Privacy Traces Broken

After running a scan, when ASC Pro 16 goes to fix privacy traces, it hangs at 14%, "Fixing:  Saved Passwords."  Everything else works fine, and this happens even if Privacy Traces is the only thing I select.  Any help would be appreciated.

its MS edge browser, open privacy trace, look thru list for MS edge saved password, click on it, select ignore. I not find the file/folder indicated where saved passwords are stored

Please download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelper.exe. Then double click to run this tool on the PC with the problem and click "Save report". After it finishes, you will get a pop-up window to tell you where the report file IObit_Debug_Info.zip is saved. Click the "OK" button to open that saved folder.

Please send the zipped file IObit_Debug_Info.zip to feedback@iobit.com for further checking.

I uninstalled and reinstalled three times and it finally worked. Never heard from the Advance System Care?

Having the same problem, will not find privacy traces, hangs at 26%. uninstalled and re-installed still the same problem. only started happening since upgrading to version 16

Sorry for the issue you encountered.

Our technicians work out a demo to further check the issue. Please follow the steps below:

1. Download the demo PrivacyDemo.exe from the link below, then put it into the installation folder of ASC (you can right-click the desktop shortcut of ASC to choose "Open file location" to open its installation folder.).

2. Run the demo file PrivacyDemo.exe, and click the Scan button. After the scan finishes, please click the Fix button.

3. If the fix hangs, please follow the steps below to send us the debug file via the email feedback@iobit.com.

to resolve this issue with version 16, Go into setting within ASC, Under Privacy Sweep ---> "Microsoft Edge"  uncheck "Saved Passwords". rerun and it should work fine.
