Happened to me as well and there was no x in the corner. I got software installed on my computer that i did not agree to and with the installation strange things happened, the system time got changed and i could not connect to the internet for about 15 minutes. The way the developer reacts, like its their users fault tells me, this is not a a product to be trusted, even if i paid for the software. Stepping away from it and advise others to do that as well.

Hello wahoo,

Usually, you can close the windows with "X" in at the top right concern.

For the situation you mentioned, if it happens, please send us the related screenshots.

Something should be misunderstood.

No you can't. The same thing just happened to me. A message appeared in my screen with a red warning saying my IP is exposed (even though I use another VPN!) and there was no way to get rid of it other than selecting 'resolve now', which I did hoping I would be able to cancel installation, as the window wasn't actually asking for a permission to install anything. As soon as I clicked it, iTOP vpn has installed on it's own with no warning and even pinned itself to the task bar. I believe it is illegal and I am uninstalling all iObit software now and will look for a way to warn other users or report iObit. I cannot tell what kind of adware or malware would iObit get into my computer.
