Jams during the "Fixing" processes

I just got through updating ASC 16 from ASC 15.  I ran a manual scan.  All seemed to go well.

Upon running the Fix function on all the found anomalies, ASC 16 froze at Privacy Traces > Fixing Saved Passwords and indicated it was at 5% complete at this step.  I had to go into Windows Task Manager to shut down ASC16 as nothing else would work.

I then re-scanned and, upon completion of the scan, tried to Fix the anomalies again.  This time ASC 16 froze at Privacy Traces > Fixing Saved Passwords and indicated it was at 12% complete at this step.  I had to go into Windows Task Manager to shut down ASC 16 as nothing else would work.  This time I gave it 20 minutes to try to complete the "Fixing Saved Passwords" step.

I will be reverting back to ASC 15, using IOBit Uninstaller and, hopefully, ASC 15 will work OK for me.

same issue on my desktop! it started a day or two ago as I run it every night but found it still stuck in the am.

Have you looked at previous posts, as you are supposed to do before posting,
